About ME

Heather

My name is Heather and I’m mum of two crazy children and a rather large dog based in Frimley, Surrey. I started swimming lessons at the age of 3 and that is where my love of water came from. I continued with my swimming working through all the levels including all the lifesaving awards. At 16 I qualified as an assistant swimming teacher. Skip on a few years and I am now a fully qualified ASA level 2 swimming teacher with additional qualifications in baby and preschool and Aquanatal yoga.

Experience

With over 10 years teaching children and adults experience I still love my job. I enjoy seeing swimmers confidence grow and that moment when they first do an unaided swim is amazing. I have worked across many types of settings including private tuition, private swim schools, leisure centres and school swimming, gaining valuable experience from different approaches to teaching. If you have your own pool at home I can come to you and tailor lessons to your individual requirements.
